HOTEL DEL LUNA
Nestled deep in the heart of capitalβs thriving downtown, Del Luna is old beyond measure, the building has stood for millennia on its current location. Natively, the hotel has been around more than any soul can remember and has changed owners a lot of times. However, no one knows the past owners or guests as every time the hotel passed into the other hand, all guests were sent to the other world as well. The establishmentβs current owner, Jang Manwol became the owner 1500 years ago when the hotel was still named Moon Lounge and had nothing as luxuries as it does now. She built new floors to the building over the years and added everything her guests would need in the modern time, even a social media platform solely used by her staff and guests.
The establishment can only be seen by ghosts and grim reapers, or special humans, who either followed a ghost to there or received an invitation by the owner. Only during the full moon night, Del Luna becomes visible to all curious eyes, hence, during those nights normal humans might find it or even stay in it as well. After all, Del Luna appears on legal documents just like any other hotel and have permission from the government to offer service to their guests. The only secret they have is the real identities of their guests.
THE LOBBY
The entrance of Hotel Del Luna, where the guests are welcomed by receptionists and later on led to their rooms. It resembles a huge hall with tables and comfortable seats in case guests have to wait and wished to order drinks while waiting as well.
THE FULL MOON PLANETARIUM
Essentially, this place was made to keep the Moon Tree separated from other garden plants and protect it from curious eyes. However, in the last decade, the place was made into a planetarium and was opened to both staff and the guests. It is still forbidden for them to touch Moon Tree, which stands at the corner in a chamber, yet everyone is welcome to visit the planetarium to watch stars and planets from the magical telescope. It is out of the hotel building and at the west of the Azalea Garden.
THE AZALEA GARDEN
The huge and gorgeous garden of Del Luna that surrounds the establishment with various flowers, especially azalea, and their scent. At the west of the garden is the Full Moon Planetarium and at the south is Oracle Tea House, the place souls visit before leaving for the other world. At the east is a lake beside which Firefly Cafe is located.
THE ORACLE TEA HOUSE
The tea house is specially made for the souls, who would go to the other world after their stay in Del Luna. There they are offered a cup of warm tea, which would slowly help them to forget their lives as they pass through the Sanzu River. After that, they would be accompanied by a grim reaper to the entrance. The tea house stands at the south of the Azalea Garden.
THE ENTRANCE TO SANZU RIVER
The entrance that leads souls to Sanzu River, located at the basement of the hotel. This is the last point where a soul can be accompanied by a grim reaper. Before reaching the afterlife, the souls of the deceased must cross the river by one of three crossing points: a bridge, a ford, or a stretch of deep, snake-infested waters. The weight of one's offences while alive determines which path an individual must take.
THE ROOF BALCONY AND SKY BAR
The highest place in Del Luna, where staff and guests can see the whole city. There they can have a glass of drink or have appetizer from the Sky Bar. The bartenders work here and this place is known as one of the favourite places of the establishmentβs owner.
DE LA LUNA RESTAURANT
The place where the kitchen's art is served to the guests. In De La Luna Restaurant, which is a floor below the Sky Bar, the guests can find not only Korean cuisine but also worldwide varieties of meals prepared by the chefs. The restaurant is directly connected with the kitchen and is often crowded during breakfast and dinners.
FIREFLY CAFE
Located by the lake at the east side of Azalea Garden, Firefly Cafe opens its doors to the guests with best flavours of coffee and sweets. There, they serve everything one can find in a cafe, products are brought from various worldwide locations. Baristas work here.
MARE POOL
Even if entrance does not appear different than any other room in Del Luna, Mare Pool is a sea with a beach, open every hour in every day for the guests. Guests do not have to bring anything with them as the staff provides them with everything they need.
GUEST AND STAFF ROOMS
Each room is designed for the person's taste, therefore, it is hard to find two rooms that are similar to each other. Someone else cannot enter the room unless the room's owner gives permission to them.
CELEBRATION HALL
The hall is on the entrance floor and is rarely used, usually once or twice in a year for usual celebrations unless a guest requests to hold their wedding in Del Luna.
MYSTIC POP-UP BAR
Mystic pop-up bar is an outdoor drinking establishment run by special ghosts who ended their lives at places, which were considered sacred by the folk, such as wells or temples and causing it to lose its power. In order to go to the afterlife, they need to help humans to resolve their problems. As it is a pop-up bar, it does not have a fixed place in Del Luna. They sometimes appear out of the hotel as well. Owner is a special ghost, whereas workers are either grim reaper, goblin or human.
